Anjali Anand, who recently appeared alongside Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi in Dhamaal 4, shared a hilariously honest review of the film from her mother. According to Anjali, her mom wasn’t particularly impressed by the comedy and summed up her verdict in just three words: “One-time watch.”Anjali recalled the amusing exchange while appearing on Farah Khan’s recent YouTube food vlog. During the conversation, Farah turned to Anjali’s mother and asked, “Toh Dhamaal 4 dekhi ki nahi aapne? Maza aaya ki nahi?”(So, did you watch Dhamaal 4 or not? Did you enjoy it or not?)Anjali then revealed that she had asked her mother a similar question after the film’s release.“Maine poocha, mumma kaisi lagi picture?”(Mom, how did you like the movie?) Anjali recalled. Her mother’s response was refreshingly straightforward: “Achhi hai, one-time watch.” (It’s good, a one-time watch)The brutally honest verdict left Farah and everyone else in splits.Anjali Anand asks her mom, ‘Beti kaisi lagi apni?’The actress then decided to find out what her mother thought of her own performance in the film. When Anjali asked, “Beti kaisi lagi apni?”, (How did you like it) to which her mother simply replied, “Hmm, theek hai.” (She was okay)The deadpan response prompted more laughter during the conversation, with Anjali sharing the anecdote as an example of her mother’s candid nature.

Looking back at 2020, the actress described it as one of the lowest points in her life, when acting opportunities were difficult to find and she had even considered leaving India.Anjali, whose father Dinesh Anand is a former actor, began her career on television before making her film debut with Bell Bottom in 2021. She subsequently landed a major theatrical breakthrough with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ in 2023.She later featured in ‘Dhamaal 4,’ sharing screen space with established stars including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.
